Item Description

This is an opulent antique French adornment that was just discovered in Avignon in the South of France. Dating from the 19th century it is created masterfully from bronze that through the passage of time have gained an exquisite patina in blue that gives it a magnificent appeal today. It is created as a bouquet of three branches consisting of a palm, oak and laurel. Such sculptural ornaments have been used to embellish prominent monuments and buildings cross France. Because of the bronze's strength and resilience it could be displayed in outside spaces as well as interiors - on a flat surface or mounted on a wall if desired. The middle branch has two little holes that could be used to mount this unique treasure on a wall or a wooden board, for example. It measures about 90 x 60 x 6 cm or approximately 35.4 x 15.7 x 2.3 inches and it is in great antique condition and exactly as I discovered it. There is only one palm leaf missing which is hardly noticeable. For the full condition please refer to the images!
