Item Description
A wonderful and extremely rare matched pair of George I period side chairs.
Circa 1720.
With stunning Cocuswood matched veneered backs on walnut frames.
The Cocuswood forelegs are beautifully carved at the knee and foot.
The integral upholstery and fabric appear to be original to the chairs and would require some attention.
With truly exceptional original colour and patina.
Structurally sound, one chair with some later seat rails (finished sympathetically a long time ago).
