A lovely original example of a 'Mendlesham' Windsor armchair.
Circa 1800.
Crafted from fruitwood with an elm seat, this model features a more unusual 'flame' back splat.
Firmly attributed to the East Anglia region, more specifically the Day family in Mendlesham.
Beautiful original colour and glow to the wood. Structurally sound.
