Mid-Century Modern Italian magazine holder or storage bin.
Crafted in tortoiseshell-effect acrylic with polished brass trim and carrying handle. Circa 1970. The elegant combination of rich amber tones, faceted form, and brass detailing evokes the sophisticated aesthetic of Milanese luxury design and is very much in the manner of Aldo Tura. Versatile in use, the piece functions beautifully as a magazine rack, newspaper holder, or decorative storage container. Its sculptural form and warm reflective surfaces make it an attractive accent in both modern and traditional interiors.
Presented in good vintage condition commensurate with age and use. There is a small nibble to one lower corner, which is minor, stable, and does not detract from the overall appearance or functionality of the piece.
