Item Description
Very large antique French archtop mirror, circa 1840, with layered, watergilt frame. Where the mirror has been dusted for almost 200 years, the gilding has thinned (in the more reachable areas!) revealing the warm, terracotta bole beneath. What makes this mirror particularly stunning is the original mercury glass, in excellent condition, with sparkles across the whole mirror.
