Item Description
Narrow, antique, French archtop mirror, circa 1840, with outcurving watergilt frame. Where this mirror has been cleaned for almost 200 years, the gilding has thinned revealing the burnished, dark terracotta bole beneath. The original mercury glass mirror has light foxing but this mirror still gives a good reflection and the glass sparkles when it catches the light.
