Item Description
1960’s Meissen white vase by Ludwig Zepner
Meissen who are best known for their traditional porcelain made a small range of stylish vases in the late 1960’s and early 70’s. Ludwig Zepner is known to have designed this lovely simple textured vase for this prestigious maker. We have found others for sale, but none with the lovely quality presentation case that would make it a truly special gift. It also means it’s easy to send safely as a small parcel without risking damage in transit. It’s not a cheap cardboard box, it’s wood with a textured red leather type finish.
This cool sophisticated look was popular in the late 1960’s and into the 70’s and was the exact opposite of the other trend in German ceramics the more rustic Hot Lava.
22.5cms high 7cms diameter
