High quality 1950’s brass mounted standing lamp possibly unique
We’ve not seen anything else quite like this amazing heavy floor standing lamp. We think it’s 1950’s and not 1930’s as it was described when we bought it at auction, and probably British. The use of multi layered cut paper discs of different shades combined with really unusual brass fittings would indicate that it had been designed by someone like Laszlo Hoenig who was designing and having pieces made for very wealthy clients at the time. Most of his pieces however are labelled. It certainly has all the attributes of a bespoke commission produced without financial constraints.
