Item Description
This vintage mid-century modern tension pole lamp, made in the USA, features fiberglass cone shades embedded with wicker, solid brass details, and sculpted solid wood finials.
The brass finish on the pole is in excellent condition, with the middle section showcasing dark walnut veneer.
The springs are also in great shape, accommodating ceiling heights from 240cm to 270cm, with the optimal range between 245cm and 265cm. The lamp’s continuous clockwise switch offers four settings, allowing you to light one or two shades independently or all three at once.
A stunning piece and a extremely rare find in the UK.
One of the shades is stamped Made in USA if you look very closely.
Understood to have originally been owned by the managing director of Hoover.
