Item Description
Set of 11 Kosta stacking glass candlesticks by Goran Warff
These lovely textured icicle glass candlesticks are apparently called Igloo. They usually come up as singles, but as you’ll see in this group of 11 they can be stacked when you have enough of them. Much smarter than the Nagel metal ones which are still being produced and found often in large sets.
Kosta joined with other factories in the Afors Group in 1971, but it wasn’t until 1976 that the name Kosta Boda was used. 2 of these retain their early 1970’s Kosta gold labels. Goran Warff worked as a designer from 1964-74 and then again from 1985. His wife Ann designed the smaller and easier to produce snowball candlesticks which has been in production for some 40 years. The Igloo ones are hard to find even singly so to find a big group like this is really hard.
