Large Vicke Lindstrand Kosta dish 41cms LH1216
This substantial Swedish crystal glass shallow bowl was in The Kosta 1955/56 catalogues. It will have been hand blown and each one made would be unique in size and exact design of swirling patterns and would have been very expensive when new. The catalogue says circa approx 40cms. A statement piece of glass designed by Victor ”Vicke” Lindstrand who was one of the best known Swedish glass designers in the 1950’s at a time when Swedish glass was at it’s very best.
Engraved Kosta LH1216 41cms across, 3.1kgs in weight
Condition
No signs of damage or scratches, some small bubbles as has to be expected. Small scratches to the underside on base as to be expected from a used item of this type.
