Set of 4 Moller Model 84 teak chairs

A nice solid design by Niels Moller and made by the family business of Moller who have specialised in making top quality chairs for over 60 years. You can still buy some of their models today, but mainly in oak or cherry, and they cost more than most vintage ones.

As with so many Danish chairs with papercord seats there was some wear to some of the seats after some 50 years of use. We now have our own in-house papercorder who has totally re-done the seats so they’re now as new. This takes a lot of time and with materials it works out at around £100 a chair.

Condition
The solid teak frames have all been fully cleaned and oiled, and as already mentioned the papercord has all been fully replaced. As with all vintage furniture you must still expect to see some very minor signs of wear to the frames if you look very closely.

Notes
Unlike our in-house restoration and upholstery team , our papercorder has time available to do outside work .
