One of the nicest examples you’ll find of this popular model from the early 1970’s. The original owner has had a plate glass top made which means you don’t have to worry about hot plates or spilled wine !

Designed by Tim Bates with a good quality chrome base and nicely chosen veneered top with a fantastic grain and rich colour. These are the low back chairs which we think are smarter than the high back versions, and unusually all 6 have arms so everyone gets a really comfortable seat. Upholstered in their original chestnut coloured leather.

Table 200cms x 100cms, height 72cms. Top 4cms thick. Chairs 56cms at widest, seat height about 46cms, back height about 83cms

Condition
The top had a couple of shallow marks on it when we got it which is when the owners must have decided to get a glass top made . We’ve had the original finish removed and given it a light clean and it’s now looking lovel . Our restorer has given it an oiled finish which we think looks better than a varnished one and as it’s protected by the glass it will need very little care. The chrome base is in lovely vintage condition with no obvious pitting or wear to the metal.

The original upholstery is in lovely vintage condition with only very minor signs of wear if you look very closely, but nothing we can show in a photo.
