Swedish teak sideboard designed by Nils Jonsson for Troeds

One of the few Troeds sideboards that never seems to have a model name branded along with the Troeds name to the interior. A lovely design with it’s cascade of angled drawers to the centre. You can swap the doors round so that the handles are to the centre rathe than to the side.

Troeds pieces from the 1960’s are always really well made. Their pieces were more expensive than G Plan and McIntosh when new and they were sold by good quality shops all over the UK back in the day.

Nils Jonsson designed most but not all their pieces in the 1960’s as well as working for at least one Danish company.

We purchased this lovely sideboard along with a number of Danish pieces from the family of the original owners.

Condition
It had a few marks to the top when we bought it, but after a clean and oil there are now no obvious marks or scratches. As with all vintage furniture you must expect to see some minor signs of wear if you look very closely.
