Item Description
A pair of brass and clear glass twin-arm wall lights, with scrolling, fluted branches issuing from stepped brass mounts. Each arm supports a flared glass cup with pronounced ribbing and a scalloped rim, complemented by circular glass backplates with a spiral rosette pattern. The flowing glasswork contrasts with the restrained geometry of the brass fittings, bringing together traditional decorative forms and an understated Art Deco influence. Their balanced proportions and transparent elements give the pair a light, elegant presence, suited to placement beside a mirror or within an alcove. Rewired in antique style flex and PAT tested to UK standard. France, circa 1930 - 1950.
