1960’s Danish teak dining table by Randers Mobelfabrik

A beautifully made teak extending dining table which can be dismantled when not in use or for ease of moving as the legs just bolt into place . It seats 4 when un-extended and 6 very comfortably when fully extended . Randers Mobelfabrik were a small quality maker who used a number of designers such as Kurt Ostervig in the 1960’s . It has lovely simple lines and is a cut above similar Danish tables with pull out extension leaves .

We bought it from the family of the original owners along with a later Danish table by Gudme and 10 Moller teak dining chairs which are currently being re-corded as the seats were worn . The set of chairs in the photos is from a different source and have been recently listed also .

100cms x 100cms unextended each leaf adds 48cms taking it to 196cms x 100cms . Height 72,5cms .

Condition
Cleaned and oiled with some very minor knocks to the veneers on the edges if you look very closely . See photos as they show anything obvious . The leaves are a good match in colour for the top which is not always the case after 60 years of fading .
