Item Description
1960’s Holmegaard glass teardrop pendant lamps
We have 7 of this size in various colours which all look great together in groups which can be hung at varying heights, or as singles.
There are 2 pale grey, 1 slightly darker grey, 1 purple and 3 different shades of blue from pale to royal blue. They’re beautifully made with 3 layers of cased glass. Inner white which is cased in coloured glass with a clear outer casing. The different shades of grey may be down to the colour mixes being slightly different from day to day.
We also have one larger teardrop shade which is being listed separately which is a pale grey/blue in colour.
As you’ll see different bulbs will alter the effect ( white light , warm light and a cool light ).
Holmegaard had a few designers at the time, but the most likely one for these lovely pieces is Jakob Bang.

Condition
In good vintage condition with the odd small nibble chips to the rim if you look very closely, but not visible when hung.
