Item Description
1960’s Swedish red glass brick and teak table lamp.
We bought both this table lamp and a related one separately on buying trips to Scandinavia. We could only find a yellow glass one online so they can’t have been made in large numbers.
We are listing them separately as they’re definitely not a pair. We have photographed and shown both together in some of the pictures as they still look good even though they are different woods and colours. The red in teak and the blue in rosewood.
34cms to top brass fitting, 13cms wide teak 6.75cms deep
ConditionWe have identified them as Swedish as they had Swedish plastic fittings. These have been replaced with smarter brass ones which have been re-wired to current UK electrical standards.
The teak has been cleaned and is in lovely condition. The red glass has 2 small chips if you look very closely but it’s still a lovely smart and unusual piece. We have taken the damage into account in our pricing as the blue glass one is priced at a higher figure.
