Elegant Victorian mahogany narrow hallstand c 1880

There are numerous Edwardian and Victorian hallstands out there , but very few to compare with the quality and style of this beautiful example . The quality of the turning is excellent making it really stand out in comparison to the standard models you’ll see . Then add in the stylish brass hooks which again are a step up from the usual ones and you have something that’s a little bit special . It’s also very neat in size compared to the usual ones you’ll see for sale .

We thought there might have been a makers stamp but have looked all over and there isn’t one .

The mahogany is a lovely rich dark colour .

Condition
In great original condition with no obvious marks or damage . The original metal drip tray shows signs of wear which you have to expect after nearly 150 years .
